Tax credits vs childcare vouchers HMRC have introduced a calculator to help employees decide whether they would be better off receiving tax credits or taking childcare vouchers from their employer. Although not the easiest of things to use, having answered the questions the recommendations are helpful. It is not in the true sense a ‘calculator’, as it doesn’t calculate your tax credits award but well worth a look.
